Salary (IDA Pay Scales)

• Level-12: ₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200 + NPA (if applicable)
• Level-11: ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700 + NPA
• Level-10: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 + NPA

Age Limit

• Scientific Officer-C: Up to 35 years
• Scientific Officer-D: Up to 40 years

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Training Schools, operating under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India, has released the official notification for the OCES-2026 (Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates) and DGFS-2026 (DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme). These prestigious training programs aim to induct bright engineering and science graduates as Scientific Officers (Group-A Gazetted Posts) in various DAE units across India.

The programs offer high-level training in nuclear science, engineering, and related frontier areas. Candidates selected through either the online examination or valid GATE scores will undergo training and receive a stipend of ₹74,000 per month during the training period. Upon successful completion, they will be appointed at Level-10 of the Pay Matrix (₹56,100 + DA + other allowances). • Engineering Disciplines: BE/BTech/BSc(Engg)/5-year Integrated MTech in Civil, Chemical, Computer Science, EC, EE, IN, ME, MT with at least 60% aggregate.
• Physics: MSc / Integrated MSc in Physics OR BE/BTech/MTech in Engineering Physics with 60%.
• Chemistry: MSc / Integrated MSc with Physics and Maths at BSc level or as subsidiary subjects.
• Biosciences: MSc / Integrated MSc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or BTech in Food Tech.
• Geology / Geophysics: MSc / MTech / Integrated MSc in relevant subjects with 60%.

GATE 2024/2025/2026 score is optional but can be used for screening.

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), a premier nuclear research facility under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has announced recruitment for Pharmacist positions. A total of 5 vacancies have been released under Vacancy Circular No: NJA/Adm./Rect/2025/01. The recruitment will be conducted through a walk-in selection process at BARC Hospital, Anushakti Nagar, Mumbai.
