BARC Consultant Vacancy 2026

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Experience

For Consultant (Admin & Accounts), candidates must have retired from Admin & Accounts Cadre in Group A or Group B and should possess sound knowledge of Government rules, procedures, and computer applications.
For Consultant (Drivers), candidates must have retired from Driver Cadre-I and must hold a valid Light Motor Vehicle and Heavy Motor Vehicle driving licence issued by a competent authority.

Salary

Selected Consultants will be paid a fixed monthly remuneration equivalent to 50 percent of the last pay drawn plus 50 percent of the Transport Allowance drawn at the time of retirement. No Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, General Provident Fund, or Gratuity will be admissible.

Age Limit

Applicants must be below 65 years of age as on 30 June 2026. Officials retiring on superannuation up to 30 June 2026 are eligible to apply.

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Training Schools, operating under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India, has released the official notification for the OCES-2026 (Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates) and DGFS-2026 (DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme). These prestigious training programs aim to induct bright engineering and science graduates as Scientific Officers (Group-A Gazetted Posts) in various DAE units across India.

The programs offer high-level training in nuclear science, engineering, and related frontier areas.
