Candidates appearing in the final semester of the qualifying course for Finance & Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer or Sub-Treasury Officer may apply. They must, however, produce proof of passing the qualifying examination in original on or before the interview date fixed by APPSC.

Applicants for Assistant Director (Prosecution) and Assistant Public Prosecutor must provide the prescribed seven-year experience certificate or applicable Magistrate appointment order with the online application.

Mandatory Arunachal Pradesh Eligibility Conditions

Candidates must be Indian citizens and inhabitants of Arunachal Pradesh holding a valid Permanent Residence Certificate. They are also required to be original inhabitants of the state and possess an Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) certificate.

Applicants must be able to speak an indigenous tribal language of Arunachal Pradesh and have working knowledge of the state’s local indigenous tribes.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern

Selection will primarily be based on a written examination followed by viva-voce. The written examination carries 450 marks, while the viva-voce carries another 50 marks, bringing the selection examination to 500 marks.

For Finance & Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer and Sub-Treasury Officer, the concerned subject is one of Commerce, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics.

For Assistant Director (Prosecution) and Assistant Public Prosecutor, Paper I covers Core Criminal Laws, while Paper II covers Constitutional Law and Other Special Legislations.

Candidates generally need an aggregate of 33% in the written examination and at least 20% in each paper/subject to qualify for viva-voce. For PwBD candidates, the prescribed thresholds are an aggregate of 20% and at least 10% in each paper/subject.

Approximately three times the number of advertised vacancies will be called for the interview stage.
