AIIPMR Mumbai Recruitment 2026 for Bio Medical Engineer: Notification, Eligibility and Application Form

The All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AIIPMR), Mumbai, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has announced recruitment for the post of Bio-Medical Engineer. This is a Group ‘B’ Gazetted post and carries a Pay Level-7 salary structure. The recruitment is open for one unreserved (UR) post. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Bio-Medical Engineering are eligible, and a Master’s degree in the same discipline is desirable. The selection will be made through an interview process. Interested and eligible candidates must apply in the prescribed format within 21 days from the date of publication in the Employment News, which is 12th December 2025. The last date for receipt of applications is 2nd January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Bio-Medical Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
• Desirable: Master’s Degree in Bio-Medical Engineering from a recognized university or institute.

Salary

• Pay Level-7: ₹ 44,900 – ₹ 1,42,400 per month

Age Limit

• Not exceeding 30 years as on the closing date of application (02 January 2026).
• Relaxation in upper age limit will be as per Government of India rules (not specified in detail).

Application Fee

• Payment should be made via Demand Draft / Pay Order in favour of ‘Director, AIIPMR’, payable at Mumbai.
