HAL DT and MT Admit Card 2026
HAL scheduled the admit cards for the Design Trainee and Management Trainee online examination to be available from August 20, 2026. Applicants who successfully submitted their forms can access their examination admit cards through the recruitment section of the HAL website.

Educational Qualification

HAL DT and MT Selection Process

The Online Computer Based Test will have a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes, or 150 minutes. A total of 160 multiple-choice questions will be included in the examination, divided into three parts.
Part I will contain 20 questions on General Awareness, while Part II will consist of 40 questions covering English and Reasoning. Part III carries the largest share of the examination and will include 100 questions from the candidate’s concerned engineering discipline.

HAL Service Agreement Bond
Candidates finally selected for the DT and MT posts will be required to execute a Service Agreement Bond. Under the prescribed conditions, they must serve HAL for five years, excluding the 52-week training period.
If a candidate breaches the service agreement, the individual may be required to reimburse the actual training expenses incurred by HAL, subject to a maximum amount of Rs. 15 lakh. Candidates should therefore understand the service commitment and bond conditions before joining.
