Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a Miniratna Public Sector Undertaking and a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has released the official notification for recruitment of Assistant Foreman (Trainee) Grade-C posts in various technical disciplines. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 270 regular vacancies for deployment across NCL mines and establishments located in Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh and Sonebhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. The recruitment is open to eligible Indian nationals holding Matriculation along with a 3-year Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines. Salary
Selected candidates will be appointed in Grade-C as per Coal India Limited and NCL pay structure. The pay scale, allowances, and other benefits will be applicable as per company policy in force from time to time.
Age Limit
The age limit for NCL Assistant Foreman Recruitment 2026 is 18 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates, and up to 10 years for PwBD candidates.
Application Fee
The application fee for UR, OBC (NCL), and EWS candidates is ₹1180 inclusive of GST. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and Departmental categories are exempted from payment of application fee. The fee must be paid through online mode only.
Selection Process
The selection process for NCL Assistant Foreman Recruitment 2026 will consist of a Computer Based Test followed by Document Verification. The CBT will be of 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes. Final selection will be based on merit in the CBT and fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
