Preferred areas include Artificial Intelligence and data analytics, Frontier/Responsible/Explainable AI, Post-Quantum Cryptography, next-generation service delivery architecture, programmable and layered blockchain, Zero Knowledge Proof and Information/Cyber Security.

Oracle Database Architect Qualification and Skills

Applicants for the Oracle Database Architect/Administrator position should possess at least a Graduate Degree in Engineering or MCA.

Relevant Oracle certification and hands-on database administration experience are desirable and may be considered when determining the offered CTC.

Candidates are expected to have strong knowledge of Oracle DBMS and associated technologies, including operating systems, database backup and recovery, security, performance and high-availability/disaster-recovery technologies such as RAC, Data Guard and GoldenGate.

Knowledge of PL/SQL and experience supporting other database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Elastic are also relevant to the position.

The selected professional will be expected to work with development, testing and production databases and handle areas including deployment, database capacity planning, performance tuning, BCP/DR exercises, user privileges, audits and database infrastructure best practices.

Age Criteria

For the faculty recruitment, candidates should be below 35 years of age on the date of award of the Ph.D., according to the age criterion clarified on August 25, 2026.

A specific age limit has not been stated for the Oracle Database Architect/Administrator recruitment.

Salary and Contract Terms

Faculty appointments carry pay under Academic Levels 10 to 13A2 of the 7th CPC, depending on the position and experience. Applicable allowances and Institute benefits are governed by IDRBT rules.

After a three-month probation period, the contract may be terminated by either side by providing one month’s notice. Continuation will be subject to annual performance.

Faculty Recruitment
