The University of Allahabad, a premier central university located in Prayagraj, has invited applications for the post of Junior Research Assistant (JRA) to work on a cutting-edge research project funded by the Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh (CST-UP). Only one position is available, and the appointment will be purely temporary, governed by CST-UP rules. The selected candidate will receive a monthly fellowship with incremental increases over three years. Eligibility Criteria

Education

• B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, or Material Science.
• Must have secured First Class in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Desirable

• Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified GATE, NET, JRF, or are pursuing/holding a Ph.D.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in nanocomposite material synthesis will be strongly preferred.

Residency Requirement

• Candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

Salary

• Rs. 25,000/- per month for the first and second year.
• Rs. 28,000/- per month in the third year of the project.

Age Limit

• Maximum age is 28 years as on 01/04/2025.
• Age relaxation will be applicable as per CST-UP and University of Allahabad norms.
