IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 475 Apprentice Vacancies in Southern Region | Last Date: 5th September 2025

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), one of India’s leading public sector undertakings, has announced the IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 under Advertisement No. IOCL/MKTG/APPR/2025-26. A total of 475 apprentice posts are open for eligible ITI, Diploma, and Graduate holders across various states in the southern region — Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. This recruitment drive offers positions for Trade Apprentice, Technician Apprentice, and Graduate Apprentice under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Candidates can apply online from 8th August 2025 to 5th September 2025 through IOCL’s official apprenticeship portal.

Eligibility Criteria and Requirements

Education

• Trade Apprentice: ITI certificate in relevant trade from a recognized institute
• Technician Apprentice: Diploma in engineering in relevant discipline from a recognized institution
• Graduate Apprentice: Graduate degree (any discipline) from a recognized university

Salary

Stipend will be paid as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961, and as amended by IOCL.

Age Limit

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 24 years as on 31/08/2025
• Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules.

• If applicable, payment is to be made via online payment gateway.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on written examination, followed by document verification and medical fitness as per apprenticeship norms.

IOCL Apprenticeship Recruitment 2022 Online Form: The IndianOil IOCL has released latest apprenticeship recruitment notification today inviting eligible candidates for 300+ Vacancies. The apprentices are required to be engaged in multiple trades including ITI, Accountant, Data Entry Operator / DEO, Retail Sales Associate, Skill Certificate holders and Technicians for the year 2021/22 (Phase-II). IOCL Trade / Graduate Apprentice Education:

Education required for IOCL Accountant Apprentice is graduation in relevant stream while technical trade apprentices must have passed 10th / Matric, ITI and Diploma to be eligible to apply to 2022 Apprenticeship program phase-II this year.

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit for IOCL apprenticeship 2022 for southern region is 18 years with upper limit 24/29 plus age relaxation as per apprenticeship rules/policy. Please see upcoming notification for details about SC/ST, OBC candidates for specific details about age limit.

Selection Process:

Selection will be based on performance of the candidates for marks obtained in written test and eligibility criteria. The written test is conducted with object type multiple choice questions consisting of four options with one correct option. For Trade Apprentice Accountant, it includes Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning abilities and Basic English Skills. For other trade apprentices, it includes Technical Acumen in relevant discipline, General Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude, Reason abilities and Basic English language skills.
