AWES Recruitment 2025 for 1000+ Teacher Posts at Army Welfare Education Society
The Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has announced the Online Screening Test (OST) for recruitment of teachers in Army Public Schools (APS) across India for the academic session 2025–26. These schools are CBSE-affiliated and located in cantonments and military stations, managed by local military authorities. The recruitment drive aims to fill Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Primary Teacher (PRT) positions. The OST is scheduled to be conducted on 20th and 21st September 2025. Applications are open from 5th June 2025 to 16th August 2025.

Salary
Salary structure is as per AWES norms and varies by post and school. Ad-hoc appointments may have different pay scales.
Age Limit
Fresh candidates must be below 40 years; experienced candidates must be between 40 and 55 years as on 01 April 2026.
Application Fee
₹385 per post, payable online through UPI, debit/credit cards, or net banking.
Selection Process
Selection includes an Online Screening Test, Interview, Teaching Skills Test, and Police Verification.
How to Apply
Candidates must register on the AWES Online Registration Portal (awes-guide.stage.smartexams.in) between 5 June and 16 August 2025. They must upload required documents, pay the application fee online, and can make corrections between 22 and 24 August 2025.
