ARCI Recruitment 2025 For Scientists B,C,E and Other Posts
The International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI), located in Hyderabad, Telangana, has released a notification inviting online applications for the recruitment of 11 Scientist posts. ARCI is an autonomous R&D center under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Eligibility criteria and requirement
Candidates applying for Scientist E must hold a Doctorate in Physical Sciences or a Master’s in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 10 years of R&D experience. Scientist C requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience. For Scientist B (Science), a Master’s in Physical or Chemical Sciences is needed, preferably with a Doctorate and 1 year of R&D experience. Scientist B (Engineering) applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Materials, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, with preference given to those holding a Master’s and at least 1 year of R&D experience.

Scientist C: Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 4 years’ experience.
Scientist B (Science): Master’s in Physical/Chemical Sciences; desirable Doctorate and 1 year experience.
Scientist B (Engineering): Bachelor’s in Materials/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering; desirable Master’s and 1 year experience.
Salary
- Scientist E: ₹ 1,31,100 per month (Pay Level 13)
- Scientist C: ₹ 86,405 per month (Pay Level 11)
- Scientist B: ₹ 1,14,945 per month (Pay Level 10)
All posts include DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, and other benefits such as NPS, Gratuity, Group Insurance, Medical Reimbursement, Children Education Allowance, and LTC.
Age Limit
Maximum age is 35 years for Scientist C and B as on 28/07/2025. For Scientist E, no specific age is mentioned. Relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms for reserved categories.
Application Fee
Scientist E & C: ₹ 1,000 (all categories)
Scientist B: ₹ 600 for General/OBC, ₹ 300 for SC/ST/EWS/PwD/Women
The fee should be paid via NEFT/RTGS to Canara Bank, Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad (A/c No: 1849100015365, IFSC: CNRB0001889). Fee details must be entered in the application form.
Selection Process
Scientist E and C: Shortlisted candidates will give a 15–20 minute presentation followed by a personal interview.
Scientist B: Candidates will undergo a Competitive Written Examination (3 hours, 300 marks, 100 MCQs with negative marking) and a Personal Interview. The final selection will be based on 50% weightage each for the written test and interview.
