TNTET Notification 2025 – Apply Online for Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test
The Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Government of Tamil Nadu, has released the notification for the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2025 for recruitment of Government School Teachers in Classes I–V (Paper-I) and Classes VI–VIII (Paper-II). The exam will be held in OMR-based mode, and qualifying in the respective paper(s) is mandatory for appointment as a teacher in Tamil Nadu schools. Applications can be submitted online from 11 August 2025 to 5:00 PM on 08 September 2025.

Salary
As per Tamil Nadu Government School Teacher pay scales after appointment.
Age Limit
Minimum 18 years as on 01 July 2025. No upper age limit.

- SC/SCA/ST/PwD: ₹300 per paper
Separate fee for each paper; payment via online mode.
Selection Process
Written Examination (OMR-based) for Paper-I and/or Paper-II.

How to Apply
- Visit the TRB website at www.trb.tn.gov.in and select the TNTET 2025 application link.
- Submit separate applications for Paper-I and Paper-II, paying the respective fee for each.
- Keep scanned copies of recent color passport-size photo, signature, and required certificates (10th/12th marksheets, Diploma/B.Ed., Community Certificate, PwD Certificate if applicable) ready.
- Fill in the online form accurately and complete the payment through the integrated gateway before 08 September 2025 (5:00 PM).
- If required, use the edit option between 09 September 2025 and 11 September 2025 to make corrections.
