Eligibility Criteria
Education
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in the relevant or allied disciplines with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
They must also meet one of the following:
- Cleared UGC/CSIR NET or equivalent accredited tests such as SLET/SET
OR - Hold a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2018.
Exemptions from NET/SLET/SET apply for:
- Candidates registered for Ph.D. before July 11, 2009, provided they meet specific criteria such as viva, external evaluation, publication, and presentation.
- Ph.D. holders from universities ranked in the top 500 in global rankings (QS, THE, ARWU).
