The research fellow will be responsible for executing wet-lab experiments including biomass pretreatment, saccharification, fermentation, and metagenome sequencing. The job also involves in silico analysis and periodic fieldwork for collecting plant and soil samples. Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Postgraduate degree in Botany, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology or related disciplines with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD).
• Must have qualified a national level eligibility test such as CSIR/UGC/DBT NET (LS).

Desirable Qualifications

• Prior research experience on plants, especially in plant lignocellulose biology.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) in English.
• Demonstrated experience through research presentations or publications.

Salary

• Rs. 46,990/- per month (consolidated)
