NIT Delhi Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 14 Group B & C Posts

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi, one of India’s premier centrally funded technical institutions, has released an official notification for the recruitment of Non-Teaching Staff under Advertisement No. 08/2025. The institute is inviting online applications for 14 vacancies across Group B and Group C categories including Technical Assistant, Senior Technician, Junior Assistant, Lab Attendant, and more. These roles offer candidates an opportunity to work in a dynamic educational and research-oriented environment. Applicants with qualifications ranging from 10+2 to B.E./B.Tech./MCA in relevant fields are eligible. The application process will be conducted via the Samarth online portal, open from 1st October to 22nd October 2025 (till 11:55 PM). Selection will be based on a written test, proficiency test, and document verification.

Education Qualification

• Technical Assistant: First Class in B.E./B.Tech./MCA/Diploma/Science Degree/Master’s Degree
• Senior/Junior Assistant, Technician, Lab/Office Attendant: 10+2 or equivalent; typing skills and ITI/Diploma as required per post

Salary

All posts carry pay as per 7th CPC Pay Levels:

• Level-6: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (Technical Assistant)
• Level-4: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Senior Technician, Senior Assistant)
• Level-3: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 (Technician, Junior Assistant)
• Level-1: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900 (Lab/Office Attendant)

Age Limit

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per government rules

Selection Process

1. Written Test
2. Proficiency Test (for applicable posts)
3. Document Verification

Final selection will be based on merit and qualification of each stage.
