UP Home Guard PET Date Notice 2026 Released

The latest PET notice is important for candidates remaining in contention after the written examination and subsequent physical/document-related stages. Candidates should check their applicable PET schedule and instructions through the official UPPRPB portal.

The recruitment has already progressed through several stages. The written examination was conducted over three days in April, followed by the answer key on May 7. The final answer key and result were released on June 28, 2026.

UP Home Guard Recruitment 2026 Important Dates

Online applications for the recruitment started on November 18, 2025 and closed on December 17. The correction window was available from December 18 to December 21, 2025.

The written examination was conducted on April 25, 26 and 27, 2026. Exam city details were released on April 18 and admit cards became available on April 22. The initial answer key was issued on May 7.

The final answer key and written examination result were announced on June 28. DV/PST admit cards were released on July 6, with these stages scheduled between July 13 and August 7, 2026.

A total of 41,424 Home Guard vacancies are being filled through the recruitment drive. The largest allocation is for the General category with 16,650 vacancies, followed by 11,090 OBC and 8,645 SC vacancies.

UP Home Guard Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the UP Home Guard recruitment were required to have passed Class 10 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.

For ST male candidates, the minimum height is 160 cm, while the prescribed chest measurement is 77 cm without expansion and 82 cm with expansion.

UP Home Guard Physical Standard Test for Female Candidates

Female candidates belonging to UR, OBC and SC categories are required to have a minimum height of 152 cm, while ST candidates must have a minimum height of 147 cm.

UP Home Guard PET Running Requirements

UP Home Guard Written Exam Qualifying Marks and Merit
