RRB NTPC UG Merit List 2026

The RRB NTPC UG merit list/result PDF contains the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted after CBT-1. Candidates can download the result document from the website of their respective Railway Recruitment Board.

Shortlisting for CBT-2 has been carried out on the basis of candidates’ performance in the first-stage CBT and the applicable recruitment criteria, including post preferences. Appearance of a candidate’s roll number in the result PDF indicates provisional shortlisting for the second-stage examination.

Candidates should remember that qualification at this stage does not constitute final appointment. They will have to successfully complete the remaining stages applicable to the posts for which they are being considered.

RRB NTPC UG Cut-Off 2026

Along with checking the merit list, candidates should refer to the cut-off information issued by their respective RRB. Cut-off marks can differ between Railway Recruitment Boards, categories and other applicable recruitment parameters.

The cut-off provides candidates with an indication of the marks required for shortlisting from CBT-1 to the next stage. Candidates should rely on the official zone-wise result and cut-off documents for their respective RRB rather than comparing their scores with another railway zone.

RRB NTPC UG Scorecard 2026

Candidates will be able to check their individual CBT-1 performance through the online candidate login facility beginning August 26, 2026 at 5:00 PM.

To access the scorecard and related examination information, candidates will need their Registration Number and Date of Birth. The login facility will allow applicants to check their individual normalized marks and qualifying status.

The scorecard is particularly useful for candidates who want to compare their performance with the applicable cut-off and understand their position in the CBT-1 examination. Candidates should save a copy of their scorecard once the login facility becomes active.

RRB NTPC UG CBT-2 Exam Date 2026

Candidates shortlisted through CBT-1 will move to the second-stage Computer Based Test. According to the announced schedule, RRB NTPC UG CBT-2 is scheduled to be conducted on September 17, 2026.
Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the CBT-1 result should therefore begin preparing for the second stage without waiting for the scorecard facility to open. Further information regarding examination city, admit card, reporting time and examination instructions is expected to be communicated through the respective RRB portals as applicable.

Applicants should regularly monitor official RRB updates because information regarding subsequent stages is generally issued separately.

RRB NTPC UG Selection Process

The NTPC Undergraduate recruitment involves multiple stages, and CBT-1 serves as the initial screening stage. Candidates shortlisted through the first examination are required to participate in CBT-2.

Depending on the requirements of the post concerned, candidates progressing through the recruitment process may subsequently have to appear for an applicable skill test, followed by document verification and other prescribed formalities. Final selection will be subject to candidates satisfying the eligibility and verification requirements laid down by the Railway Recruitment Boards.

Candidates should therefore retain their application details, educational certificates, category certificates where applicable and other relevant records for use during later stages of recruitment.
