RRB NTPC Graduate Level CBT-II Result 2026 Released for 5,810 Posts

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the CBT-II result for the NTPC Graduate Level Recruitment under CEN 06/2025. The recruitment drive is being conducted for 5,810 vacancies across several graduate-level Non-Technical Popular Categories posts in Indian Railways.

Candidates who appeared for the second-stage Computer Based Test can now check their zone-wise result and cutoff. The RRB NTPC Graduate Level CBT-II examination was conducted on July 10, 2026, and the result was released on August 27, 2026. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CBT-II will proceed to the applicable Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) or Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST), depending on the post. The recruitment includes posts such as Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor, Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist, Senior Clerk-cum-Typist and Traffic Assistant.

RRB NTPC Graduate Level CBT-II Result 2026

RRBs have published the results of the second-stage Computer Based Test for candidates participating in the NTPC Graduate Level recruitment. Results and cutoff information are being provided through the respective regional Railway Recruitment Board websites.

Candidates should check the result issued by the RRB through which they applied. The result PDFs contain the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the next applicable stage. Applicants should carefully search for their roll number in the relevant result document and also check the cutoff issued by their regional board.

The CBT-II result does not represent final appointment. Shortlisted candidates must complete the post-specific selection stages and subsequently satisfy document verification and medical fitness requirements.

A total of 5,810 vacancies are included under CEN 06/2025. Goods Train Manager has the largest share with 3,416 vacancies, followed by Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist with 921 positions.

RRB NTPC Graduate Level Important Dates

The online application process began on October 21, 2025, and applications were accepted until November 27, 2025. Candidates were allowed to make corrections to their forms from November 30 to December 9, 2025. Application status was released on January 20, 2026.

CBT-I was conducted from March 16 to March 27, with admit cards issued from March 12. The CBT-I answer key was released on April 6 and the result was declared on June 11, 2026.

The second-stage examination was held on July 10. Exam city information had been issued on June 30, followed by CBT-II admit cards on July 6 and the answer key on July 15. The CBT-II result was finally announced on August 27, 2026.

RRB NTPC Graduate Level Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for NTPC Graduate Level posts must possess a degree from a recognized university or its equivalent. This basic graduation requirement applies to posts including Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor, Station Master, Goods Train Manager and Traffic Assistant.

For Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist and Senior Clerk-cum-Typist, candidates must hold a recognized university degree and possess the required typing proficiency in English or Hindi on a computer.

Applicants should refer to CEN 06/2025 for the complete post-wise eligibility conditions and any additional requirements applicable to individual posts.

RRB NTPC Graduate Level Age Limit

The age requirement for NTPC Graduate Level recruitment is calculated as on January 1, 2026. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and should not exceed 33 years under the general age criteria.

Eligible candidates belonging to reserved and other specified categories are entitled to relaxation in the upper age limit according to Railway Recruitment Board rules.

RRB NTPC Graduate Level Application Fee

General, OBC and EWS candidates were required to pay an application fee of ₹500. The fee for SC, ST and EBC applicants was ₹250, while female candidates across categories were also required to pay ₹250.

Under the prescribed refund provisions, General and OBC candidates appearing in the first-stage examination were eligible for a refund of ₹400, while eligible candidates in the other specified categories could receive a refund of ₹250, subject to applicable conditions.

Online payments were accepted through debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS and other supported payment facilities.

RRB NTPC CBT-II Zone-Wise Result and Cutoff

The CBT-II result and cutoff have been issued through regional RRBs. Result or cutoff information has been provided for several zones, including Mumbai, Ranchi, Patna, Ahmedabad, Prayagraj/Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Bhopal, Ajmer, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Bilaspur, Jammu-Srinagar, Kolkata, Siliguri, Malda, Bhubaneswar, Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru and Chennai.

Candidates should use the result issued by their respective regional RRB rather than checking another zone’s cutoff. Cutoffs can differ according to RRB, post, category and the applicable next-stage shortlisting requirements.

Candidates from zones where an update is not yet displayed should continue checking the concerned regional RRB portal for the result and cutoff notice.

What Happens After RRB NTPC CBT-II?

Candidates shortlisted through CBT-II will move to the next selection stage applicable to their chosen post. This may include the Computer Based Aptitude Test or Computer Based Typing Skill Test.

The aptitude test is applicable to specified posts where aptitude assessment forms part of the recruitment procedure, while typing-based posts require candidates to demonstrate the prescribed typing proficiency.

Candidates who qualify through all applicable testing stages will subsequently be called for Document Verification. They must also satisfy the prescribed railway medical standards before final appointment.

RRB NTPC Graduate Level Selection Process

The selection process starts with CBT-I, followed by CBT-II. Candidates qualifying the second stage are considered for a Skill Test, Typing Test or Aptitude Test wherever applicable to their post.

Candidates who successfully complete these stages proceed to Document Verification and Medical Examination. Final appointment is subject to merit, document verification, medical fitness, vacancy availability and fulfillment of all eligibility conditions prescribed under CEN 06/2025.

  1. Visit the official website of the regional Railway Recruitment Board through which you applied.
  2. Open the Results, CEN Notifications or latest notices section.
  3. Find the notice for CEN 06/2025 NTPC Graduate Level CBT-II Result.
  4. Open the CBT-II result PDF for your RRB zone.
  5. Use the PDF search option and enter your roll number.
  6. If your roll number appears in the result, check the notice to identify the next stage for which you have been shortlisted.
  7. Open the separate cutoff notice where provided and check the applicable category/post cutoff.
  8. Download the result and cutoff PDFs for future reference.
  9. Continue checking your regional RRB website for CBAT, CBTST, Document Verification or other next-stage notices.

RRB NTPC CBT-II Score Card and Cutoff

Candidates should check both the result and cutoff information issued for their respective RRB. The cutoff provides important information about the shortlisting standard applied for progression from CBT-II to the relevant next stage.
