Difference Between RPSC Exam City Slip and Admit Card
Candidates should understand that the exam city information and admit card serve different purposes. The city intimation is released in advance primarily to inform candidates about the city where their examination has been scheduled.
The admit card, scheduled for August 27, is the more important examination document. It is expected to provide detailed information such as the examination venue, reporting requirements and candidate-specific examination instructions.
Candidates should therefore download the admit card separately even if they have already checked and saved their exam city information. The city slip alone should not be treated as a substitute for the hall ticket.
RPSC Statistical Officer Selection Process
The selection process for Statistical Officer recruitment begins with the written examination. Candidates appearing on August 30 will have to obtain the required marks to remain under consideration for subsequent stages.
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the recruitment criteria will proceed to document verification. Their educational qualifications, age, category and other claims made in the application can be checked through original documents during this stage.
The stated recruitment process also includes medical examination. Final appointment will be subject to successful completion of the required stages and satisfaction of all eligibility conditions prescribed by RPSC.
What to Check on RPSC Statistical Officer Admit Card
Once admit cards are released, candidates should verify their name, roll or application details, examination date, examination centre, reporting time and other information appearing on the hall ticket.
Candidates should also read the examination instructions carefully, including requirements concerning identity proof, photographs or other documents, if specified.
Any discrepancy that could affect entry into the examination should be addressed through the appropriate RPSC channel as early as possible rather than waiting until the examination day.
RPSC Statistical Officer Exam 2026: What Candidates Should Do Now
With the examination scheduled for August 30, candidates should first check their allotted exam city and make any necessary travel arrangements. They should then return to the RPSC portal on or after August 27 to download their admit card.
Applicants should keep their application details ready so they can access the relevant online facilities without difficulty. They should also continue their examination preparation while regularly checking RPSC notices for any last-minute instructions or changes.
Candidates appearing for the RPSC Statistical Officer examination are advised to rely on the official Commission website for exam city information, admit cards and subsequent result updates. With only a short period remaining before the August 30 examination, applicants should download all required documents on time and carefully follow the instructions issued by RPSC.
