Result is Provisional, Not the Final Merit List

Candidates should particularly note that the result released by RPSC is a provisional list for eligibility checking. Inclusion of a roll number in this list does not mean that the candidate has received final appointment as a School Lecturer.

The documents and eligibility of shortlisted candidates must first be examined by the concerned authorities. Final selection will be determined only after the prescribed scrutiny and verification process has been completed.

Candidates whose qualifications, category certificates or other eligibility claims do not comply with the recruitment rules may lose their candidature even if their roll number appears in the provisional result.

Scrutiny Form Mandatory for Shortlisted Candidates

Candidates included in the provisional result must submit their Detailed Application Form-cum-Scrutiny Form online from August 13 to August 19, 2026, with the submission facility closing at 11:59 PM on the last date.

Candidates need to log in through the Rajasthan SSO Portal and access the Recruitment Portal. They should then go to “My Recruitment”, select “Detailed Form Cum Scrutiny” and use the “Apply Now” option to complete the required information.

After successfully submitting the form, candidates must take two printouts of the completed Detailed Application Form. These copies will be required during the subsequent verification process along with the original supporting certificates and the required self-attested photocopies.

Document Verification for RPSC School Lecturer Candidates

Shortlisted candidates will have to report at the venue designated by the Secondary Education Department for verification. They must carry two printed copies of the submitted scrutiny form along with all original documents and the required self-attested copies.

Candidates should ensure that their postgraduate degree, B.Ed or other prescribed professional qualification, date-of-birth proof, category certificates and other eligibility documents are complete and valid. Information provided in the scrutiny form should also correspond with the documents produced during verification.

According to the result instructions, a separate call letter will not be issued by RPSC for the verification process. Candidates must therefore closely follow the schedule and instructions communicated by the concerned department.

367 Candidates Disqualified Under OMR Rules

An important point mentioned in connection with the examination concerns the fifth-option OMR rule. A total of 367 candidates have been disqualified for leaving more than 10% of the questions unanswered without marking any option, including the designated fifth option.

Candidates appearing in RPSC examinations should carefully follow OMR instructions because failure to comply with the prescribed answering rules can lead to disqualification irrespective of performance in the questions that were attempted.
