Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the Group D Answer Key 2026 for candidates who appeared in the recruitment examination for 22,195 Level-1 vacancies. The recruitment covers Pointsman-B, Track Maintainer Grade IV and various Assistant posts across railway zones in India.

The RRB Group D Answer Key 2026 was released on September 7 for the recruitment being conducted under CEN 09/2025. The revised CBT schedule covered August 3, 6, 9, 17, 21 and 25, 2026. The recruitment drive is being conducted for 22,195 Group D Level-1 vacancies across multiple departments of Indian Railways. Track Maintainer Grade IV has the highest number of openings at 11,032, followed by 5,053 Pointsman-B vacancies.

RRB Group D Qualification and Age Limit

Candidates were required to have completed Class 10 from a recognised institution or possess the applicable National Apprenticeship Certificate issued by NCVT, subject to the educational requirements prescribed under CEN 09/2025.

The minimum age prescribed for the recruitment is 18 years and the maximum age is 33 years as on January 1, 2026. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable to eligible categories according to Railway Recruitment Board rules.

RRB Group D Application Fee and Refund

General and OBC candidates were required to pay an application fee of ₹500, while the fee for SC, ST, EBC, female and transgender candidates was ₹250.

Candidates appearing in the CBT are eligible for the prescribed refund subject to RRB conditions. General and OBC candidates are eligible for a refund of ₹400, while SC, ST, EBC, female and transgender candidates are eligible for a ₹250 refund. What Comes After RRB Group D Answer Key 2026?
