UGC NET Selection and Qualification Process

UGC NET June 2026 is being conducted as an online Computer-Based Test. Performance in the examination is used for determining eligibility according to the applicable UGC NET qualifying criteria.

Depending on their performance and eligibility, successful candidates may qualify for Assistant Professor eligibility, Junior Research Fellowship, or the applicable category specified under the UGC NET framework.

Candidates should carefully check the qualifying status shown on their scorecard rather than relying only on their raw marks.
