NICL Assistant Call Letter 2026 Released

NICL has made the Phase-I call letter available for candidates who successfully registered for the Assistant recruitment. The admit card is an essential document for appearing in the preliminary examination and candidates should download it well before the examination date.

The call letter contains examination-specific information including the candidate’s details, examination centre, reporting time and instructions that must be followed on the test day. Candidates should carefully verify all information after downloading the document.

If there is an error in the candidate’s name, photograph or other important details, the matter should be reported to NICL or IBPS through the appropriate official channel before the examination.

NICL Assistant Prelims Exam Date 2026

The Phase-I Preliminary Examination for the 500 Assistant posts will be conducted on August 27, 2026. Candidates should check their individual call letters for the exact examination venue, reporting time and other instructions because these details may vary between candidates.

Applicants are advised to reach the examination venue at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on their call letter. Arriving early will provide sufficient time for identity verification and other pre-examination formalities.

The issue of a call letter does not itself establish that a candidate has fulfilled all eligibility conditions. Eligibility and supporting documents may be examined at subsequent stages of the recruitment process.

NICL Assistant Pre-Examination Training

NICL has also scheduled online pre-examination training from August 19 to August 22, 2026, for eligible SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates who opted for the facility while submitting their applications.

Candidates who selected the training option should follow the instructions communicated through the appropriate recruitment channel. The training is intended to help eligible candidates familiarize themselves with the examination process before the Phase-I test.

Documents Required at NICL Assistant Exam Centre

Candidates must carry a printed copy of the NICL Assistant Call Letter 2026 to the examination centre. A valid original photo identity document such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID or Driving Licence should also be carried for identity verification.

Candidates should additionally keep a photocopy of the same identity document. If the call letter instructs candidates to bring a passport-size photograph or any other document, those requirements must also be followed.

A digital copy of the admit card on a mobile phone should not be treated as a substitute for the printed call letter. Candidates should carry a clear hard copy to avoid problems during entry and verification.

Important Instructions for NICL Assistant Prelims 2026

Candidates should carefully read all examination-day instructions printed on their individual call letters before travelling to the examination centre. They must report at the specified time and cooperate with the identity verification procedure.

Electronic devices and any other items prohibited under the examination rules should not be carried inside the test centre. Candidates must follow instructions given by NICL/IBPS officials and examination invigilators throughout the examination.

Those experiencing difficulty accessing the admit card portal due to heavy traffic can try again during off-peak hours. Candidates should avoid waiting until the examination day to download the call letter.

Check Details Printed on NICL Assistant Call Letter

After downloading the call letter, candidates should verify their name, photograph, roll or registration details, examination date, reporting time and examination centre. All instructions printed on the document should also be read carefully.

If the photograph is missing, unclear or incorrect, or if any other significant discrepancy appears on the call letter, candidates should contact the concerned NICL or IBPS authorities through official channels as early as possible.

NICL Assistant Exam on August 27

With the call letter now released, candidates appearing for the 500 Assistant (Class III) vacancies should focus on completing their final preparation for the August 27 Phase-I Preliminary Examination. The printed admit card and prescribed identity documents should be kept ready before the exam day.

Candidates can access the call letter through the official IBPS recruitment portal and check further recruitment updates through the official NICL website.
