EMRS Tier-II Result 2026 Released

NESTS has published the Tier-II result as the recruitment process for various EMRS teaching and non-teaching positions moves forward. Candidates who participated in the examinations held between March 22 and March 25 can check whether they have qualified for the next applicable stage of recruitment. The recruitment drive originally opened for online applications on September 19, 2025. Candidates were given until October 28, 2025 to submit their applications and pay the prescribed application fee. The first-stage examinations were conducted on December 13, 14 and 21, 2025, followed by the subsequent result and Tier-II examination process.

EMRS Recruitment 2025-26 Important Dates

The online application process started on September 19, 2025 and closed on October 28, 2025, which was also the deadline for fee payment. Exam city details for the initial examination were released on November 28, followed by admit cards on December 11. The examinations were held on December 13, 14 and 21, 2025.

The answer key was issued on January 5, 2026, while the recruitment result was declared on January 31 and the final answer key followed on February 4. For Tier-II, exam city information was made available on March 3 and admit cards were released on March 19. The Tier-II examinations took place from March 22 to March 25, followed by the Tier-II answer key on May 13. The Tier-II result was finally declared on September 3, 2026.

EMRS Vacancy Details

A total of 7,267 vacancies were notified across teaching, administrative and support positions. TGT accounts for the largest share with 3,962 vacancies, followed by 1,460 PGT positions. The recruitment also includes 635 Hostel Warden, 550 Staff Nurse (Female), 228 Junior Secretariat Assistant, 225 Principal, 146 Lab Attendant and 61 Accountant vacancies.

EMRS Post-Wise Qualification Details

For the Principal post, applicants were required to hold a Master’s degree in any discipline along with B.Ed and at least 12 years of teaching experience. TGT applicants needed a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks, B.Ed and qualification in STET or CTET Paper-II.

PGT candidates were required to possess a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks along with B.Ed. However, the separate B.Ed requirement does not apply in the specified cases involving an eligible integrated four-year degree course. Candidates should refer to the detailed recruitment notification for subject-specific requirements.

For Staff Nurse (Female), B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic Nursing along with registration with the State Nursing Council was required. Applicants also needed at least 2.5 years of relevant work experience. Hostel Warden applicants were required to possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

The Accountant post required a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree. Junior Secretariat Assistant applicants needed to have passed the 10+2 examination and possess a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. For Lab Attendant, candidates needed Class 10 along with a Certificate or Diploma in Laboratory Technique, or 10+2 with Science.

EMRS Age Limit

The upper age limit under the recruitment varied according to the post and ranged from 30 to 50 years as of August 1, 2025. There was no single minimum age specified for all positions in the provided recruitment details. Applicable relaxation in the upper age limit is available to eligible categories in accordance with EMRS/NESTS recruitment rules.

EMRS Application Fee
