DSSSB Warder Physical Test Dates Announced

DSSSB has announced the physical test schedule for candidates shortlisted for Warder (Male), Post Code 15/25. According to the latest schedule, the physical stage will be conducted from September 12 through October 13, 2026.

16,596 Candidates Shortlisted for PET

A total of 63,817 candidates appeared in the Tier-I examination conducted for the Warder recruitment. Based on written examination performance and the prescribed category-wise cut-offs, 16,596 candidates have been shortlisted for the physical stage.

The shortlist is provisional. Candidates progressing to PET must continue to satisfy all eligibility requirements specified in the recruitment advertisement. Their educational qualifications, age, category and other claims may be checked during subsequent verification.

Clearing the PET is therefore necessary but does not itself guarantee final appointment. Candidates will have to successfully complete all remaining stages of the recruitment process.

DSSSB has released category-wise Tier-I cut-off marks out of a maximum of 200 marks. The highest cut-off among the listed categories is 139.35 marks for UR candidates, followed by 121.56 for EWS candidates.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

Apart from the category-wise cut-offs used for shortlisting, minimum qualifying marks were also prescribed for the written examination. The minimum requirement is 40% for UR and EWS candidates, 35% for OBC candidates and 30% for SC, ST and PwD candidates.

Ex-Servicemen are eligible for the prescribed relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks as per the applicable rules. Candidates should distinguish between minimum qualifying marks and the actual category-wise cut-off, as merely obtaining the minimum percentage does not necessarily result in shortlisting.

The selection process begins with the Tier-I written examination, which has already been completed. Candidates shortlisted through this examination will now participate in the Physical Efficiency and Measurement Test.
