BSF 2nd Phase CBT Admit Card 2026 Released

BSF has activated the e-admit card facility for candidates shortlisted to participate in the second phase of the recruitment process. The hall tickets went live by the end of August 18 and can now be accessed through the official recruitment portal.

Only candidates who successfully cleared the first phase consisting of the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test are eligible to participate in the upcoming written examination.

The recruitment is connected with multiple advertisements issued during 2024 for several technical, ministerial and other Non-GD categories. Candidates should therefore carefully check the post, examination date, shift, centre and reporting instructions printed on their individual admit cards.

BSF Posts Covered Under 2nd Phase CBT 2026

The second-phase written examination covers recruitment advertisements issued during 2024 for a wide range of posts. These include Water Wing, Engineering Cadre, Air Wing, Para Medical, SMT Workshop and Librarian positions, along with ASI (Stenographer) and Head Constable (Ministerial) recruitment in CAPFs and Assam Rifles.

The advertisements covered under the examination include the June 2, 2024 notice for Group A, B and C Water Wing posts; the May 18, 2024 advertisements covering Engineering Group A, Air Wing Group A, Para Medical, SMT Workshop and Librarian posts; and the March 17, 2024 advertisements for Group B and C Engineering Cadre and Air Wing Group C posts.

The examination also covers the June 9, 2024 recruitment advertisement for Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) and Head Constable (Ministerial) posts in CAPFs and Assam Rifles.

Candidates need their recruitment credentials to access the e-admit card. The BSF Roll Number will be used as the Login ID, while the candidate’s Date of Birth in DDMMYYYY format will initially be used as the password.

First-time users may be asked to change their password after logging into the portal. Candidates should complete this process as instructed and retain the updated login details securely.

Details to Check on BSF E-Admit Card

Candidates should carefully examine all the information printed on their e-admit card immediately after downloading it. The hall ticket should be checked for the candidate’s personal details, post name, examination date, allotted shift, reporting time and complete examination centre information.

Since the CBT is being held across multiple dates and shifts, candidates should particularly verify their individual examination schedule. The information printed on the candidate’s admit card should be followed for reporting at the test centre.

Applicants should also read the examination-day instructions given on the hall ticket to avoid problems during identity verification and entry into the examination venue.

BSF CBT Mock Test 2026

BSF has also provided a mock test facility through its official recruitment website for candidates appearing in the second-phase Computer Based Test.

The mock test can help candidates understand the CBT interface before appearing in the actual examination. Applicants can use it to become familiar with the question navigation system, screen layout and general process of attempting a computer-based examination.

Candidates appearing for the September examination are advised to use the official mock test facility as part of their final preparation.

Documents Required on BSF Exam Day

Candidates should carry a clear printed copy of their BSF e-admit card to the examination centre. They should also bring a valid original photo identity document as required under the examination instructions. Documents such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card or Voter ID may be used where accepted by the authority.

Applicants should check their individual admit cards for the final list of permitted identity documents and any additional requirements. The instructions provided on the e-admit card should be treated as the primary guidance for examination-day documentation.
