AIIMS NORCET 11 Admit Card 2026 Out for 2,216 Nursing Officer Posts, Exam on September 12

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released the admit card for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-11. The recruitment process is being conducted for 2,216 Nursing Officer (Group-B) vacancies across AIIMS New Delhi and other participating AIIMS institutes. AIIMS NORCET 11 Admit Card 2026 has been released on September 9, 2026, for candidates who successfully registered for the Nursing Officer recruitment examination under Notice No. 103/2026. The NORCET Preliminary Examination is scheduled for September 12, 2026, while the Stage-II Mains examination is planned for September 30, 2026. Selected Nursing Officers will be appointed to Group-B posts carrying Level 7 pay in the applicable Pay Matrix.

AIIMS NORCET 11 Admit Card 2026 Released

AIIMS New Delhi released the NORCET 11 admit card on September 9, ahead of the Stage-I examination. Candidates appearing for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test should access their admit card through the examination portal and carefully verify the details printed on it.

The admit card is an important document for entry to the examination. Candidates should check their examination centre, reporting instructions, examination timing and other directions mentioned on the hall ticket and follow the prescribed requirements on the examination day.

AIIMS had earlier released the examination city information on September 3, 2026, allowing candidates to know their allotted exam city in advance. The admit card now provides the necessary examination-related information for the September 12 test.

AIIMS NORCET 11 Important Dates

The NORCET 11 recruitment notice was issued on July 24, 2026, and online registration began on the same date. Applications were accepted until August 13, 2026, up to 5 PM. The examination city details were issued on September 3, followed by the admit card on September 9.

AIIMS NORCET 11 Vacancy and Qualification Details

A total of 2,216 Nursing Officer vacancies are covered under NORCET 11. These appointments are for Nursing Officer Group-B positions at AIIMS New Delhi and other participating AIIMS institutions.

Candidates with B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing qualifications are eligible subject to the prescribed registration requirements. Applicants must be registered as Nurse and Midwife with the Indian Nursing Council or the concerned State Nursing Council, as applicable.

Candidates holding a General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) diploma can also qualify if they are registered as Nurse and Midwife and possess two years of experience in a hospital having at least 50 beds, as prescribed in the recruitment conditions.

AIIMS NORCET 11 Age Limit

Applicants for AIIMS NORCET 11 are required to be between 18 and 30 years of age. August 13, 2026, is the cutoff date for determining the age of candidates. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable to eligible reserved and other categories according to the recruitment rules.

Candidates should ensure that their date of birth and category-related documents support their eligibility, as these records may be checked during the later stages of recruitment.

AIIMS NORCET 11 Nursing Officer Salary

Candidates selected as Nursing Officers through NORCET 11 will be appointed to Group-B positions at Pay Level 7. The recruitment notice refers to the corresponding pre-revised Pay Band-2 of ₹9,300–34,800 with Grade Pay of ₹4,600.

In addition to the applicable basic pay, appointed candidates may receive allowances and other benefits according to the rules applicable to the respective AIIMS institution and place of posting.

Application Fee

The application fee was ₹3,000 for General and OBC candidates and ₹2,400 for SC, ST and EWS applicants. PwD candidates were exempted from paying the application fee. Payment was required to be completed through the prescribed online mode.

The recruitment conditions also provide for refund of the application fee to eligible SC/ST candidates who appear in the examination. The refund is to be processed after declaration of the results and verification of the relevant SC/ST certificate.

AIIMS NORCET 11 Selection Process

The recruitment process begins with the Stage-I NORCET Preliminary Examination, which is conducted as a Computer-Based Test. Candidates qualifying according to the prescribed criteria move to Stage-II, the NORCET Mains examination, which is also conducted in CBT mode.

The Stage-I examination is scheduled for September 12, while the Mains examination is scheduled for September 30, 2026. Candidates progressing through the examination stages will subsequently have to complete document verification and the prescribed medical examination before final appointment.
