The ICAR – National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), located in Karnal, Haryana, has released a recruitment notification for 07 contractual vacancies across research and technical support roles. These include Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Young Professional-I, Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical), and Project Technical Support-I positions. Eligible graduates and postgraduates in fields like Microbiology, Food Technology, Dairy Science, Chemistry, and Life Sciences can apply directly by appearing for walk-in interviews scheduled between 24th November and 1st December 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Minimum: Graduate degree (3 years) in relevant science/technical fields
• Preferred: Postgraduate with NET/GATE (for JRF/SRF/Research Scientist)

Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience for Project Technical Support-I
• 2 years research experience required for SRF posts

Salary

• JRF: ₹31,000/- + HRA
• SRF: ₹35,000/- + HRA
• Young Professional-I: ₹25,000/- (Consolidated)
• Project Research Scientist I: ₹56,000/- + HRA
• Project Technical Support-I: ₹18,000/- + HRA

Age Limit

• JRF: 30 years (Men), 35 years (Women)
• SRF: 35 years (Men), 40 years (Women)
• Young Professional-I: 21 to 45 years
• Project Research Scientist I: 35 years
• Project Technical Support-I: 28 years
• Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PHC as per ICAR/GoI norms
