Post Details
1. Stenographer Grade C
Pay Scale: Level-7 (₹44,900-1,42,400 as per 7th CPC)
Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years
Education:
Essential: Graduation, speed of 120 WPM in shorthand, 40 WPM in typing (English) or 100 WPM shorthand, 35 WPM typing (Hindi). Diploma in computer applications.
Preferential: Candidates proficient in both Hindi and English shorthand and typing will be given preference.
Method of Recruitment: Direct recruitment based on competitive exams and skill tests.
2. Stenographer Grade D
Pay Scale: Level-4 (₹25,500-81,100 as per 7th CPC)
Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years
Education:
Essential: Graduation, speed of 80 WPM in shorthand, 40 WPM in typing. Diploma in computer applications.
Preferential: Preference for candidates proficient in Hindi shorthand and typing.
Method of Recruitment: Direct recruitment with skill tests and written examinations.
3. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)
Pay Scale: Level-1 (₹18,000-56,900 as per 7th CPC)
Age Limit: Between 18-27 years (Relaxable for departmental candidates and as per Govt. of India rules)
Education: 10th class pass from a recognized board.
Method of Recruitment: By direct recruitment.
Selection Process
Written examination with objective-type questions covering general intelligence, reasoning, general awareness, and quantitative aptitude.
Skill tests for posts requiring specific typing or shorthand proficiency.
Preference will be given to candidates meeting specific preferential qualifications.
