Metal and Steel Factory (MSF), Ishapore, a unit under Yantra India Limited (A Government of India Enterprise), has announced an opportunity for young engineering graduates and diploma holders under the Skill India Mission. The recruitment is for one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended). A total of 15 apprenticeship positions are available in Mechanical, Electrical, and Metallurgical disciplines, including 6 Graduate Apprentice posts and 9 Diploma/Technician Apprentice posts. Interested and eligible candidates must apply online through the Government of India’s NATS Portal. The apprenticeship will be conducted at the factory located in Ishapore, West Bengal.

Education
Candidates must have completed either:
- B.E. / B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Metallurgical disciplines for Graduate Apprentices.
- Diploma in the relevant engineering stream for Diploma/Technician Apprentices.
Salary
- Graduate Apprentices: ₹10,900 per month
- Diploma / Technician Apprentices: ₹12,300 per month
Age Limit
- Graduate Apprentices: 21 to 25 years (as on closing date)
- Diploma Apprentices: 18 to 22 years (as on closing date)
- Upper age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), and 10 years for PwD candidates
Application Fee

Selection Process
- Shortlisting will be done based on the merit list in descending order of marks obtained in qualifying exams.
- Reservation rules will be applied as per government norms.
- In case of tie, preference will be given based on age (older candidate), then year of passing, and then alphabetical order of name.
- Final selection will be subject to document verification, police verification, and medical fitness.
