Meghalaya High Court Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 20 Stenographer Grade-I Posts

The Meghalaya High Court has released the official notification for the recruitment of Stenographer Grade-I under Vacancy Circular No: HCM.II/I09/2020-Rect/45. A total of 20 vacancies are available for eligible candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and a Stenography diploma. The online application process is active and will close on 19th January 2026. Selected candidates will be posted in Shillong, Meghalaya, with a monthly pay of ₹49,000.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university
  • Diploma in Stenography in English with:
    • Minimum shorthand speed: 120 wpm
    • Minimum typing speed: 50 wpm on computer

Age Limit:

  • Maximum Age: 32 years
  • Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates as per government norms

  • Pay Scale: ₹49,000/- per month (fixed)
