King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, has invited applications for the recruitment of Senior Residents (Un-registered) and Non-PG Junior Residents across various departments. A total of 26+ posts are available through this Walk-in-Interview drive, scheduled for 19th and 20th January 2026. These positions are open to candidates with qualifications in MD/MS/DNB or MBBS, and the appointments are based on direct interviews. Eligible candidates must submit their filled application forms along with necessary documents to the Office of the Medical Superintendent by 14th January 2026. Eligibility Criteria

Education

For Senior Resident (Un-registered):

• Must possess MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty recognized by MCI/NMC.

For Non-PG Junior Resident:

• Must possess MBBS degree with completion of internship from an MCI recognized institution.

Experience

• Candidates may apply up to 5 years from the date of completion of internship.
• Maximum of 36 months total service is allowed, with a cap of 18 months in one department.

Age Limit

• Senior Resident: Maximum 45 years as per NMC norms.
• Non-PG Junior Resident: Maximum 40 years on the date of interview.
• Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates with UP domicile, widowed/divorced women, and persons with disabilities.

Reservation

• Applicable as per UP Government norms.
• Only UP domicile candidates are eligible for reservation benefits.

Salary

As per institutional norms (not mentioned in notification).

Selection Process
