The Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali has released a notification for the recruitment of one Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical) for a research project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). This project focuses on cutting-edge nanotechnology-based cataract therapies, particularly involving peptide-polymer hydrogel and photoresponsive agents. Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Post Graduate Degree including integrated PG degrees in relevant discipline with 3 years post qualification experience
  OR
• PhD in Engineering or Technology

Experience

• 2 to 3 years of experience in Research and Development in Industry/Academic Institution/Scientific Organizations.

Project Title

• Noninvasive and in situ forming peptide-polymer hydrogel containing CPP decorated nanoparticles/photoresponsive agents with crystallin aggregates disaggregating propensity for potential cataract therapy

Salary

• Rs. 67,000/- per month + HRA (as applicable)

Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 40 years as on 28th January 2026
• Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories as per Government of India rules
