Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS), Patna has announced the recruitment of 03 Senior Resident posts on an ad-hoc basis in the departments of General Medicine, Internal Medicine, and General Pediatrics. The positions are open to candidates with MD or DNB qualifications. The recruitment will be done through walk-in interviews conducted every working Wednesday, offering a regular opportunity for eligible applicants. Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Essential: MD or DNB in General Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Pediatrics
• Minimum Qualifying Percentile:
  • UR: 50th percentile
  • BC/EBC/EWS: 45th percentile
  • SC/ST: 40th percentile

Nationality

• Must be an Indian Citizen

Salary

• As per IGIMS institute norms with NPA and applicable allowances

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 45 Years
• Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • BC/EBC: 3 years
  • Female candidates: 3 years

Selection Process

Selection will be based on merit score (100 marks) evaluated as follows:

• MBBS: 10 marks (–2 for each failure)
• MD/DNB: 10 marks (–5 for each failure)
• Additional Qualifications: 10 marks
• Publications: 10 marks
• Posters/Presentations: 10 marks
• Academic Awards: 10 marks
• Specialized Training: 10 marks
• Projects (Extra/Intramural): 10 marks
• Subject Knowledge: 20 marks

5. Report at State Cancer Institute, IGIMS Patna on any working Wednesday
