The High Energy Materials Research Laboratory (HEMRL), functioning under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has announced the recruitment of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) for the year 2025. Located in Pune, Maharashtra, HEMRL is one of the premier research laboratories involved in high-energy materials and technologies. This recruitment drive offers an opportunity for young and dynamic postgraduates in Chemistry, Polymer, or Chemical Engineering to join as JRFs and contribute to defense-related scientific research. A total of 02 posts have been notified through Employment News dated 13th December 2025. Selected candidates will be engaged in advanced materials research and experimentation. Eligibility Criteria

Education

Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in Chemistry or a postgraduate degree (M.Tech) in Polymers or Chemical Engineering with first-class marks at both graduate and postgraduate levels.

Salary

Selected Junior Research Fellows will receive a consolidated stipend of ₹ 37,000 per month.

Age Limit

Maximum age limit is 28 years as on the closing date of application. Age relaxation is applicable:

• 5 years for SC/ST candidates
• 3 years for OBC candidates
