ECL Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 1120+ Apprentice Vacancies
Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, has announced a major recruitment drive for PGPT (Graduate) and PDPT (Diploma) Apprentices across multiple engineering disciplines. A total of 1123 vacancies are available in Mining, Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science Engineering (CSE), and Electrical branches. The recruitment aims to provide practical training to engineering graduates and diploma holders, enabling them to gain valuable industry exposure. Candidates with the required qualifications can apply online through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal. The last date for submission of applications is 11th September 2025.

Eligibility Criteria and Requirements
Education
Candidates must possess a full-time Engineering Degree (PGPT) or Diploma (PDPT) in the respective discipline from a recognized institution with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Disciplines include Mining, Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science Engineering, and Electrical.
Salary
PGPT Apprentices will receive ₹4,500/- per month from ECL and ₹4,500/- per month from the Government of India as DBT through BoPT. PDPT Apprentices will receive ₹4,000/- per month from ECL and ₹4,000/- per month from the Government of India as DBT through BoPT. An Aadhaar-enabled bank account is required for receiving the GoI share.

Selection Process
The selection will be merit-based, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying degree or diploma. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
