The District Health Society (DHS), Coimbatore District, functioning under the Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine (DPH), Tamil Nadu, has officially released a recruitment notification for 2025 to fill 72 contractual vacancies under the National Health Mission (NHM). These vacancies are to be filled across Health and Wellness Centers operating under the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation and District Urban Health Unit. Eligibility Criteria
Education
The minimum qualification ranges from 8th Pass for support roles to professional degrees like BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BNYS, B.Com, M.Com, Diploma in Nursing/Pharmacy, and Computer-related degrees for technical and specialist roles.
Age Limit
- Consultants, Assistants, MPW, Attender, Dispenser: Below 59 years
- ULB-UHN, DEO, Accounts Assistant: Below 35 years
- Age relaxation applicable as per Government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.
Salary
- Monthly consolidated salary ranges from Rs. 8,500/- to Rs. 40,000/-, depending on the post and experience.

- Selection will be based on Merit List prepared from educational qualifications and relevant experience.
