CUTN Teaching Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 19 Teaching Faculty Posts [CLOSED]

The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), a Central University under the Ministry of Education, has released its faculty recruitment notification for 2025 through Advertisement No. CUTN/T/01/2025. The recruitment is being conducted for 19 faculty positions across a wide range of departments, including Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors. This rolling advertisement was published on August 18, 2025, and candidates holding Ph.D. or Master’s qualifications in relevant disciplines are eligible to apply online through the CUTN Samarth recruitment portal. Applications must be submitted online by 17th September 2025 and hard copies must reach by 27th September 2025. Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Professor & Associate Professor: Ph.D. in relevant field with teaching/research experience and publications as per UGC Regulations 2018 and its amendments. A research score as per Appendix II, Table 2 of the UGC norms is mandatory.
• Assistant Professor: Master’s degree with 55% marks + NET/SET/Ph.D. (as per UGC norms). A 5% mark relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD categories.
• Music Posts: Professional artists with established credentials may be considered in lieu of traditional academic degrees.

Salary

• Professor: Academic Level-14
• Associate Professor: Academic Level-13A
• Assistant Professor: Academic Level-10

Age Limit

• The age of superannuation for all faculty posts is 65 years.
