CMDA Chennai Recruitment 2022: The Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) has released latest notification inviting eligible candidates for 30+ Assistant Planner and Planning Assistant Vacancies. To apply, interested candidates must have completed graduation and post graduation in relevant stream including Master Degree, B.E/B.Tech and B.Arch degree. Salary for both posts is set at Level 20 and 22 which allows Rs.56100 – 177500/- of pay scale for Assistant Planner and Rs.37700 – 119500/- for Planning Assistant vacancies.
In addition to education, all candidates’ age must not exceed 37 years. Additional age relaxation may be available for specific category as per rules. Vacancies & Qualification
Assistant Planner:
Must possess a Master’s Degree or an equivalent Diploma in Town & Country Planning or must be an Associate member of the Institute of Town Planners (India); (or) Must possess B.E. (Civil or Highways) or B.Arch. degree or be an Associate member of the Institute of Engineers in the Civil branch and must have experience in Town and Country Planning work for not less than five years, after acquiring the qualification.
Planning Assistant:
Must possess a Master’s Degree or an equivalent Diploma in Town & Country Planning or must be an Associate member of the Institute of Town Planners (India); (or) Must possess B.E. (Civil or Highways) or B.Arch. degree or Associate member of the Institution of Engineers (India) in the Civil branch.(or) Must possess Post Licentiate Diploma in Town and Country Planning, awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu and must have experience in Town and Country Planning work for not less than two years. (or) Must possess L.C.E. or D.C.E. or D.Arch. or an equivalent qualification recognized by the State Government and Must have experience in Town and Country Planning work fora period of not less than 4 years.
