BSEB Sakshamta Pariksha 5th Phase 2026 – Apply Online for Teacher Competency Test Before 9 January

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially launched the 5th Phase of the Sakshamta Pariksha (Teacher Competency Test) for 2026. This exam is designed for in-service teachers working in government schools under local bodies (Panchayats or Urban Local Bodies) across Bihar. It is a mandatory computer-based test (CBT) to validate teaching competency and ensure quality education across primary to higher secondary levels. Teachers who were unsuccessful or missed earlier phases are also eligible to reappear. The last date to apply online is 9th January 2026 (11:59 PM).

Eligibility Criteria

Education & Service Requirement

• Must be a currently in-service teacher in a government school under local bodies in Bihar (Panchayat or Urban Local Bodies).
• Retired or non-serving individuals are not eligible.
• Must fulfill educational qualifications and appointment terms as defined in the official notification.

• The selection is based solely on the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
• Candidates who qualify in the Sakshamta Pariksha will be considered eligible under the competency framework.

2. Click on “Register New Candidate” on the homepage.
3. Fill in your Name, Email, Mobile Number, and create a password.
4. Complete registration by clicking Register.
5. Log in using your Mobile Number and Password.
6. Fill out the application form with required personal, professional, and educational details.
7. Upload required documents, photo, and signature.
8. Pay the application fee of ₹1100/- online.
9. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
