Bokaro Power Supply Company (P) Limited (BPSCL), a joint venture of Steel Authority of India Limited and Damodar Valley Corporation, has released an official recruitment notification for the appointment of Assistant Manager (Boiler Operation Engineer) in E-1 Grade. This recruitment drive aims to engage young, energetic, and technically qualified engineering professionals for its power generation operations at Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand. A total of 15 vacancies have been announced under this notification. Candidates holding a full-time B.E./B.Tech degree in relevant engineering disciplines along with a valid Boiler Operation Engineer (BOE) Certificate are eligible to apply. Salary
The selected candidates will be appointed in E-1 Grade with a pay scale of ₹50,000 – 3% – ₹1,60,000/- during the probation period. After successful completion of probation, the pay scale will be revised to ₹60,000 – 3% – ₹1,80,000/-. In addition to basic pay, other admissible benefits will be applicable as per company rules.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for applying to the Assistant Manager (BOE) post is 30 years as on 05 March 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates as per Government of India rules.
Application Fee
The application fee for General, OBC (NCL), and EWS candidates is ₹500/-. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and departmental categories are exempted from payment of application fee. The fee must be paid through online mode only.
Selection Process
The selection process for BPSCL Assistant Manager Recruitment 2026 will consist of a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 90 minutes duration followed by an Interview. Candidates shortlisted in the CBT will be called for the interview stage. Final selection will be based on combined performance and fulfillment of eligibility conditions.
