Salary

ASHA Workers will receive incentives and honorarium as prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh under the National Health Mission guidelines. The remuneration is performance-based and linked to health activities such as institutional deliveries, immunization, maternal care, and awareness programs.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit is 25 years and the preferred upper age limit is 45 years as on the notification date. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Andhra Pradesh Government norms for eligible categories.

Application Fee

No application fee has been mentioned in the official notification. Candidates are advised to verify fee-related details, if any, in the detailed notification issued by the district administration.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed SSC or 10th Class or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. Only married women, widows, divorced women, or legally separated women are eligible to apply, and unmarried candidates are not eligible. Applicants must be permanent residents of the same village for which they are applying. Good communication skills are mandatory, while basic digital literacy and prior experience in health or community work will be given preference. Candidates with disabilities are eligible to apply under the Physically Handicapped quota as per applicable rules.

Selection Process

The recruitment is conducted through a direct selection process without any written examination. Candidates must register with the Village Health and Sanitation Committee of their respective village. The VHSNC will nominate eligible candidates, and selection will be based on a merit score out of 100 marks. The merit score includes marks for educational qualification, digital literacy, communication skills, social category weightage, health sector experience, and an oral interview. The final merit list will be published after verification and grievance redressal.
