Eligibility Criteria

Education

For Non-ITI Category:

• Passed Madhyamik / Class 10 or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
• Must have secured minimum 40% marks in Mathematics and Science individually

For Ex-ITI Category:

• Passed Madhyamik / Class 10 or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks
• Must also have passed relevant ITI trade test from any NCVT/SCVT recognized institute as per Apprentices Act 1961

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 14 years
• Maximum Age: 35 years
• Note: For trades involving hazardous processes, the minimum age is 18 years as per law

Salary

• The stipend will be paid as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and subsequent amendments.

Yantra India Limited, a Government of India enterprise, has invited applications for apprenticeship training at its unit, Metal and Steel Factory (MSF), Ishapore, West Bengal. The recruitment is for Graduate and Diploma (Technician) Apprentices in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, and Metallurgical Engineering under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended). A total of 15 positions are available for one-year apprenticeship training, including 6 posts for Graduate Apprentices and 9 posts for Diploma Apprentices. Education

Candidates must have completed:

• B.E. / B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline for Graduate Apprentices
• Diploma in the relevant engineering stream for Diploma/Technician Apprentices

Salary

• Graduate Apprentices: ₹10,900 per month
• Diploma / Technician Apprentices: ₹12,300 per month

Age Limit

• Graduate Apprentices: 21 to 25 years (as on closing date)
• Diploma Apprentices: 18 to 22 years (as on closing date)
• Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), and 10 years for PwD
