Yantra India Limited, a Government of India enterprise, has invited applications for apprenticeship training at its unit, Metal and Steel Factory (MSF), Ishapore, West Bengal. The recruitment is for Graduate and Diploma (Technician) Apprentices in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, and Metallurgical Engineering under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended). A total of 15 positions are available for one-year apprenticeship training, including 6 posts for Graduate Apprentices and 9 posts for Diploma Apprentices. Salary

Graduate Apprentices: ₹10,900 per month
Diploma / Technician Apprentices: ₹12,300 per month

Age Limit

Graduate Apprentices: 21 to 25 years (as on closing date)
Diploma Apprentices: 18 to 22 years (as on closing date)
Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), and 10 years for PwD

Selection Process

Merit list based on marks obtained in qualifying exams
Reservation rules as per Government norms
Tie-breaking based on age (older preferred), year of passing, and alphabetical order
Final selection subject to document, police verification, and medical fitness
