Education

Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree (M.Sc) in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science from a recognized university/institution with:

• Minimum 65% aggregate marks across all semesters, or
• CGPA / CPI of 6.84 on a 10-point scale or equivalent grading system

Salary

The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of INR 56,100/- as per Level-10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

Age Limit

VSSC Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 39 Assistants, Drivers, Fireman, Cook and Other Posts [CLOSED]

Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), a major research center under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India, has invited online applications for the recruitment of 39 posts including Assistant (Rajbhasha), Light Vehicle Driver-A, Heavy Vehicle Driver-A, Fireman-A, and Cook. The recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement No. VSSC-332. Initially announced in April 2025, the recruitment was re-opened through an addendum published in the Employment News (20 September 2025 edition), with additional vacancies added for Light Vehicle Driver and Cook posts.

Candidates can apply online between 24th September 2025 and 8th October 2025. These vacancies are based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The roles require 10th pass, SSLC, or Graduation depending on the post, and include pay levels from ₹19,900 to ₹81,100 per month under the 7th Pay Commission.
