UPPCB Recruitment 2026 for 40+ Assistant Environmental Engineers, Assistant Scientific Officers and Other Posts
The Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB), Government of Uttar Pradesh, has released Advertisement No. G47295/AS Camp(110)/2026 inviting online applications for 40 posts of Assistant Environmental Engineer (AEE) and Assistant Scientific Officer (ASO) on a temporary basis. Out of the total vacancies, 26 posts are for Assistant Environmental Engineer and 14 posts are for Assistant Scientific Officer. This recruitment offers a prestigious opportunity for qualified B.Tech, Master’s Degree, and Ph.D holders with relevant experience in engineering and environmental sciences to join the state pollution control authority. Salary
Selected candidates will receive pay under Pay Matrix Level-10 with a salary range of ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 along with other allowances as admissible under Uttar Pradesh Government rules.
Age Limit
The age limit as on 01 July 2025 is 21 to 40 years for both posts.
Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Uttar Pradesh, skilled sportspersons of UP, and UP State Government employees as per rules. Reservation benefits are applicable only to Uttar Pradesh domicile candidates.

Selection Process
The selection process will consist of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT) – 400 Marks
- Interview
- Document Verification
