UCSL Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for Executive Trainees and Other Vacancies
Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) located at Malpe, Karnataka, has announced recruitment for 08 Executive Trainee posts in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Information Technology disciplines. The recruitment is open for young engineering graduates under Advertisement No. UCSL/IMS/HR/VN-F/11-ET/MECI/2025/50. Interested candidates can apply online from 21st July 2025 to 20th August 2025 through the official UCSL website. Selected candidates will undergo one year of training with a stipend and will subsequently be placed as Assistant Managers.

Eligibility Criteria and Requirements
Education
Candidates must have B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Computer Science/IT with a minimum of 65% marks. For IT posts, MCA or M.Sc in Computer Science/IT is also acceptable. All qualifications should be from recognized universities.
Salary
During training, candidates will receive a stipend of ₹50,000 per month. After successful training, they will be placed as Assistant Managers in the E-1 Grade with a pay scale of ₹40,000–1,40,000 plus allowances.
Age Limit
Maximum age is 27 years as of 20 August 2025. Relaxation is applicable: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.
Application Fee
General, OBC, and EWS candidates must pay ₹1,000 plus applicable charges. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates (for IT post only) are exempt from the fee.
Selection Process
The selection involves two phases:
Phase I – Objective Type Online Test (60 marks)
Phase II – Group Discussion, Writing Skills, and Personal Interview (40 marks)
Document verification will follow for shortlisted candidates.
