UCO Bank Apprentice 2026 Notification Released: Apply Online for 530 Seats by October 29, Exam on November 7

UCO Bank has opened applications for 530 apprenticeship seats across States and Union Territories under Advertisement No. HO/HRM/RECR/2026-27/COM-02. Candidates must register on the NATS portal, apply for the bank’s apprenticeship programme and complete the additional information and fee payment process by October 29, 2026.

The online entrance examination will be conducted by the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC) on November 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Applicants must meet the programme’s eligibility requirements and be proficient in a specified local language of their chosen State or Union Territory.

The engagement falls under the Apprentices Act, 1961, as amended. Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹16,650, including the applicable Government contribution, without additional allowances or benefits.

State and UT-wise Vacancy Details

West Bengal has the highest allocation with 86 seats, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 45 and Odisha with 41. Candidates may apply for engagement in only one State or Union Territory.

Horizontal reservations for OC, HI, VI and ID categories are specified within the detailed notification.

Eligibility and Local Language Requirement

Applicants must register on NATS and fulfil the apprenticeship programme’s eligibility requirements as on the prescribed eligibility date. Candidates should check the detailed notification and NATS listing for the exact educational qualification and other programme conditions before applying.

For the selected State/UT, candidates must be able to read, write, speak and understand one of its specified local languages. Language proficiency will be tested during document verification where required.

Candidates presenting a Class 10 or Class 12 marksheet or certificate showing that they studied the relevant local language will be exempt from the language test. Applicants who fail the required test will not be engaged.

Age Limit

Candidates must be aged 20–28 years as on October 1, 2026.

Monthly Stipend

The Government contribution is subject to applicable guidelines and may change. Apprentices are not entitled to other allowances or benefits.

Application Fee

Payment must be completed online through the BFSI SSC portal by October 29, 2026. Other payment methods will not be accepted.

Entrance Examination and Selection

BFSI SSC will conduct the objective-type online entrance examination on November 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The selection process also includes document verification and a local language test for candidates who do not qualify for exemption. A wait list will also form part of the recruitment process.

The bank will publish the list of provisionally shortlisted candidates on its website. Any revisions or corrigenda will be issued through the bank’s website.

1. Open the NATS portal and register through the “Student Register/Login” section. Retain your Enrolment ID.
2. Log in, locate the UCO Bank apprenticeship advertisement and submit your application for the chosen State/UT.
3. Check your email for communication from BFSI SSC at info@bfsissc.com after successful application on NATS.
4. Open the BFSI SSC portal, enter the additional details requested, including category and district preferences, and pay the applicable fee.
5. Complete all required steps by October 29, 2026, and retain the application and payment records.
6. Follow the examination instructions for the scheduled online test.
