TN Village Assistant Recruitment 2025 for 2300+ Vacancies Across Tamil Nadu from August 3 to 9
The Tamil Nadu Revenue Department has announced a massive recruitment drive for 2299 Village Assistant (கிராம உதவியாளர்) posts across various districts in the state. Village Assistants play a vital role in local administration by working under Village Administrative Officers (VAOs), primarily managing revenue records, assisting in tax collection, maintaining vital registers of births and deaths, and contributing to the day-to-day functioning of village administration. Candidates with a minimum qualification of 5th standard pass are eligible to apply. The selection will be based on a written examination followed by an interview and document verification. Online applications will be accepted from 3rd August to 9th August 2025 through the official CRA and TN Government websites.

Eligibility criteria and requirement
To be eligible for the TN Village Assistant recruitment, candidates must have passed at least 5th standard from a recognized school. It is mandatory for applicants to be able to read and write Tamil. No maximum education limit has been set, so higher qualified individuals like 10th, 12th pass or diploma holders may also apply. Candidates must be natives of Tamil Nadu.
Education
A minimum of 5th standard pass is required. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to read and write in Tamil. No disqualification on the basis of higher education.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive a monthly pay in the range of ₹11,100 to ₹35,100 under Level 6 of the Tamil Nadu Pay Matrix, along with applicable allowances and benefits.

- SC/ST/Adi Dravidar/Arunthathiyar/MBC/Denotified/BC/BC Muslim/Widows: 21 to 37 years
- Others: 21 to 34 years
- General Category (Others): 21 to 32 years
