Eligibility criteria and requirement
Candidates must be Indian citizens meeting age and academic qualifications. The upper age limit is 53 years for General candidates and 58 years for SC/ST/BC/MBC/DNC/Destitute Widow categories as on 01/07/2025.
Education
For Post Graduate Assistants (Languages or Academic Subjects), candidates must have a Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks along with a B.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. recognized by NCTE. For Physical Director Grade-I, a B.P.Ed. or related qualification with at least 50%–55% is required, along with an M.P.Ed. for certain routes. Computer Instructor Grade-I requires PG with B.Ed. or integrated degrees, with UG and PG in the same subject.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive pay as per Tamil Nadu Government norms, aligned with the 7th Pay Commission and respective department scales.
Age Limit
General category candidates must not exceed 53 years, while reserved category candidates may apply up to the age of 58 years as on 01 July 2025.
