State Institute of Hotel Management (SIHM), Balangir has released Employment Notification No. 1131/SIHM/2025-26/Recruitment for the recruitment of 11 Teaching Posts including Senior Lecturer, Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer. SIHM Balangir is an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and the Department of Tourism, Government of Odisha. Candidates with Post Graduate qualifications in Hospitality/Tourism or MBA along with Degree/Diploma in Hotel Administration and required teaching/industry experience are eligible to apply.

Salary

Senior Lecturer: Level-12 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500) as per ORSP-2017.
Lecturer: Level-10 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400).
Assistant Lecturer: Level-9 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400).
Additional allowances will be applicable as per Government of Odisha norms.

Age Limit

Senior Lecturer: Not exceeding 45 years.
Lecturer: Not exceeding 40 years.
Assistant Lecturer: Not exceeding 35 years.

Age relaxation up to 5 years is applicable for SC/ST candidates and as per Government of Odisha rules for other categories. Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.

Selection Process
