The Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research (SAMEER), an autonomous R&D institution under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has released the official notification for recruitment of 29 contractual project positions in 2026. The vacancies include Senior Project Engineer, Project Engineer (Electronics & Mechanical), Project Scientific Assistant, and Project Technical Assistant posts. Salary
The consolidated monthly remuneration is as follows:
Senior Project Engineer: Rs. 37,500 per month
Project Engineer: Rs. 34,000 per month
Project Scientific Assistant: Rs. 23,500 to Rs. 31,500 per month (Level-based)
Project Technical Assistant: Rs. 21,000 to Rs. 27,000 per month (Level-based)
Age Limit
Age will be calculated as on 22 February 2026.

Project Engineer: Maximum 28 years
Project Scientific Assistant Level A: 25 years
Project Scientific Assistant Level B: 30 years
